U.S. Government Total - Fiscal Year 2019

The following is a list of the Top-100 U.S. Government Contractors in FY 2019 ranked by the total amount of contract funds awarded. In fiscal year 2019, the U.S. Government awarded a total of $588.1 billion in contracts up 8.0% from $544.3 billion in FY 2018. Of the $588.1 billion in total contract funds, $382.6 billion (65.1%) were awarded by the Department of Defense (DoD).

In FY 2019, top awardee Lockheed Martin received $49.4 billion in prime contracts or 8.4% of total contract funds awarded by the U.S. Government. Runner-up was Boeing with $28.1 billion (5.8%) followed by General Dynamics in third place with $20.9 billion (3.6%). Raytheon received $16.1 billion (2.7%) followed by Northrop Grumman (incl. Orbital ATK), McKesson Corporation, United Technologies (incl. Rockwell Collins), L3Harris (merger between L3 Technologies and Harris Corp.), Huntington Ingalls, and Leidos. BAE Systems, #12 on the list, was the largest foreign U.S. government contractor in FY 2019.
